The family I followed at Carwoola could tolerate astonishing gusts of wind.
On one occasion one of the chicks got blown off a roost branch and seemed incapable of lifting off the ground - or flying when it jumped off the branch I placed it on Then it hid while
I called Wildcare to sort out what to do with it. Next morning it was back wit the rest of the family.
