We lost one of our resident pair of Wedge-tailed Eagles last week.  It was found floating in Lake Jerrabomberra 50 metres from our house.  Apparently it was struck by a Tiger Air plane (damaged the nose cone of the plane). A sad loss as the pair had been around here and regularly nest on Mt Jerrabomberra for many years.
