On the way home tonight I passed a flock of Galahs, Wood Ducks and Sulphur Crests feeding on a bare paddock in Gungahlin. I presume someone has seeded the area and the birds are making the most of it. There were some green parrots further from the road so I stopped and got out of the car. As I did a passing motorbike scared them all up and a large flock of Superb Parrots flew over me, with several calling. I took this pic with my phone. There are about 70 Superb Parrots in the image.

It was near the corner of Anthony Rolfe Ave and Kate Grace St.
