Subject: Baillon's Crake feast
While waiting for the northern visitor at Jerra Wetlands to do something
other than sleep, several Baillon's Crake fed close enough to capture some
of their food items on video. I was surprised at how successful the birds
were at finding food and by the variety of prey eaten. The attached image
shows just three of the visible prey items on the video.
