While waiting for the northern visitor at Jerra Wetlands to do something other than sleep, several Baillon's Crake fed close enough to capture some of their food items on video. I was surprised at how successful the birds were at finding food and by the variety of prey eaten. The attached image shows just three of the visible prey items on the video. Steve Attachment:
