Yesterday as I was riding past Hackett oval I heard a Swift Parrot so its likely there may be a few hanging around there.

There are quite a few flowering gums at the water tank in Mt Majura reserve at the back of Hackett. Lots of Rainbow Lorikeets, miners and Currawongs in there this morning. We didn’t have binos with us (!!), but if anyone has time it would be worth checking out more thoroughly for other lorikeets or parrots. Tank is opposite the entrance near Rivett and French St.

Cheers
