Steve Read and his son Lachie, and I saw the Northern Shoveler at about 0700 hours this morning hanging around the log on the far side of Kellys. A lot of Freckled and Pink-eared Ducks and Australasian Shovelers also present plus 1 Whiskered Tern. A nice comparison between the two shoveler species.
