Some grist to the sedate mill of the Bassian Thrush:
A passer by told me that he had seen a bird carrying 'half a dozen worms'. I observed a bird feeding another bird but was not sure whether I was watching an adult feeding an other adult or an adult feeding a young bird.

Interesting yes, worth mentioning and my view of the context of interest is I think though that it is not surprising. There is not a lot of suitable other nearby places for such a bird to go. A lot of Aus bush birds are very sedentary.
And I have no idea if it is the same bird and no I have not been there to look.

Interesting how long one of these birds (an assumption that it is the same bird) has been in the same locality. I photographed a Bassian Thrush on the 30th May in Section 26, and on the 7th of June in Section 28. Getting on for 2 months
now that it has been seen around Section 28 this past week.

Up the top, in the bush opposite section 70/73. The other lower one was somewhere near s28.

Could someone please let me know in roughly which area of the Bot Gardens the Bassian thrush was seen on Wednesday.
Thanks
