All the Long-billed types that I have observed over the last few years around Canberra (perhaps 20 or so individuals with two pairs actually nesting) have been paired with other long-billed types.

We have taken a more liberal approach with Canberra Nature Map and have received multiple reports of probable hybrids and have had a fair bit of discussion around the topic.
