In 2017 Liam Manderson counted 200 Shelduck against the Trucking Yard Lane site on 15 April while David McDonald reported 400 on the adjacent  Bungendore Meadow site on 20 March.

Yesterday the shovelers at Jerrabomberra Wetlands were paired off and one pair mated. I was surprised to find that there are no records of shovelers mating in the COG data published on the web site.

On Saturday, I counted 75 Australian Shelduck at Trucking Yard Lane, Bungendore. There could easily have been more.
