About 20 years ago I watched a group of about 3 or 4 of them munching on a Pacific Black Duck, which by that time was well dismembered. This was at night in
commonwealth park, I think during floriade. It was the noise of what I suspected as cracking bones that lead to the tracking this down.

I watched Rakali at Giralang Pond take a turtle quite a few years ago. nature in all its gory glory it also took quite a few minutes.
