As summer begins to meld into autumn I usually catch one or two sightings of a Grey fantail passing through our garden but this season I’ve seen one here on each of  the past five days. I see them when looking out the kitchen window which affords fine panoramic views of the iconic Hills hoist. Our clothes line seems to be a favoured launching pad for the fantails’ hunting forays.
