a first for me - a boobook roosting in the large deciduous tree in my front yard. I hear them every few weeks from the Wanniassa Hills Primary School, but haven't had one in my yard in the past. Alerted by noise from the local Noisy Miner gang.
John B and I have just watched it for some time - it's snoozing on and off, but periodically the Miner gang arrives and carries on...
