I had Koel calling (kek,kek,kek call) from tree in my garden at Weston this morning around 8.30am. In the last week, Ive had Koel
around only a couple of times, after almost daily for many weeks.

I had both a male and female calling briefly this morning around 7:20am and again after 9am in my Fadden GBS.
This follows several days of hearing only a male.
The last record of 2 birds last year from home was the 27th of Feb (today), and single birds on 4 Mar 2018, 5 Mar in 2017.
It will be interesting to see how this year compares, especially with the over-30s temperatures forecast for the next week.
