Looking out from Fulica hide onto Jerra Creek this afternoon, there was a Royal Spoonbill standing over what looked like a wall of thin branches. It had a branch in its beak and moved a few around, one at a time. It is on the island at the far end near
where the pelicans usually sit. I'm not sure if it is a nest, but it could be. Something to keep an eye on.
