Speaking of going first, I was wondering about the naming process. Did the egg
business take the name from the road, or perhaps from a property of that name
served by the road? In other words, which came first, Parkwood or the Eggs?

Activity has quietened down considerably.

Bushlarks and Brown Songlarks were still present.

Some display singing from Bushlarks still in progress.

Stubble Quail still doing their three note calls.

Cisticolas still calling.

Only two short display flights by male Brown Songlarks in a two hour duration.
No sightings of female or juvenile Brown Songlarks.

A single Wedgie.

A flock of Gang Gangs which flew from the direction of the Bidgee Valley into
the Big Row of Pines, plus a very large flock of Starlings which were
demonstrating good formation flying and which were feeding in the grasslands
were the highlights. At one stage I observed a single young Starling leading a
flock of several hundreds of birds. This prompted the question.

'Who decides who goes first?'

regards

Con
