Hi Elizabeth,
I stay at Perisher after the ski season, usually the last weekend of October. Some years there are many bogongs crowding around the windows at night, last October there might have been about 4 in the whole week we were there.
Maybe they were early, or late, but hardly any when some years there are loads of them.

What about bogong moths this year? None seen here before Christmas, and no complaints from Parliament House. Has anyone been to the mountains and seen them under the over hanging rocks ? |
