Hello subscribers, Jerry Olsen has asked me to post on the chat line a request if anyone has any sightings of fledged broods of Boobook Owls this year in the area of Bruce Ridge, Black Mountain, Aranda Bushland?

These could be of family groups roosting in back yards etc. Alternatively you may have heard cricket-like calls in your area as this is the call Boobook fledglings give when they are around being fed at night.
