Thanks Con and Christine. I have some thoughts on this year’s low koel occurrence in this neighbourhood, previously a koel hotspot over many years, but I shall keep them until the season is further
advanced. Perhaps the coming warm spell will bring them in. (The appropriation of ‘ Me too’ for other purposes has left this chatline in need of a new phrase for reports that echo earlier reports. Perhaps ‘I also’? Doesn’t sound the same though.)
