Filmed recently as a result of me on the island as a team member of the land bird survey of Lord Howe that COG has been contracted to do for the local administration, the Lord Howe Island Board. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity, a small part of which is here for others to share.

They remind me so much of NZs Weka - another big flightless rail, a bird I am much better acquainted with: https://vimeo.com/147205896
