The first I have heard this season could be heard but not seen in the woodland
to the souttwest of Dunlop in Belconnen this afternoon. And in other news my
wife spotted a pair of kookaburras repeatedly entering and leaving a hollow in
a gum tree on the northern edge of Mt Rogers Reserve in Fraser right alongside
the dirt walking track.
