Well yes what Matthew suggests is a much better idea than a hybrid. In which
case it should match a Crimson Rosella in size and voice. I thought along the
suggested lines of a hybrid first and commented on that. Mutations to suppress
the dark blue pigment (actually structural colour) are well known (think of
yellow budgerigars). There is some blue there but much reduced. Also explains
the less than black scalloping on the back.
