Kookaburras used to line up on a long tree branch before charging from about 4
m away and destroying the insect screens external side of our 1st floor windows
in Blue Mtns - almost knocking themselves out. Only half the windows were
covered in screen and they seemed to prefer those (rather than the adjacent
bare glass which you'd assume would have better reflections).
