I have just been shown incredible video footage of what I've been told was a flock of over a thousand Corellas feeding on the property
south of Jerrabomberra Grasslands NR West before flying off towards Symonston around 10am. From the footage, I would say well over 1500 birds. It was just incredible. This could account for the large northbound flocks I regulary see over Narrabundah, as mentioned
previously in the discussion.
They also photographed a lone Brown Treecreeper at Jerrabomberra Grasslands near the entrance to the first woodland patch - the last record I can find from the reserve is 2007.
