Hi everyone
I thought you mind find this one interesting. I certainly did. My father
and mother applied 1930's Dutch child rearing methods to us but modern
Dutch methods are radically different. I think the big changes came in
the 60's and 70's when Dutch society was radically transformed. One of
the keys, IMO, is that the Dutch have only one schools system so the
public school system ends up being properly resourced and kids from all
backgrounds have an opportunity to learn to get on with each other.
