I note the reference to ‘dropping she-oak trees’.  Exercise care when looking for these birds.

 

The question is:  what is the nearest to Canberra a GBC has been seen in the last 3 years?

 

I believe they can still be found around the Tallaganda Ridge.

 

Perhaps Carwoola is a good spot.
