Not claiming to be the best qualified person but I was interviewed about these on 2CC just now.  There seems to be some current interest, perhaps only anticipatory.  So far as I can see there is no ebird record for nearby since 2014.  The latest ABR has records for 2015 – 2016 at Burra and Rob Roy NR, the latter being the most likely spot in recent years.

 

I am prompted to issue the latest threatened species postcard to brighten a gloomy day.
