Maybe quite unusual but not very unusual. Whatever those distinctions mean. With a lot of data about flock sizes, that could be given a statistical description. It is among the higher end of flock sizes. It could of course be a temporary joining of 2 or 3 flocks.

My daughter, Mary, reports that last week she saw a flock of 35 – 40 choughs together in a eucalypt in Barada Crescent, Aranda.  I’ve never seen so many at once.  Is it unusual?
