I wrote to Julie to ask about the size of the duck. With the other photos now sent by Julie it looks smaller than the PBD. I think this is odd for duck with Mallard parentage. I thought just on the photo it looks like a Grey Teal with reduced pigment. I suggested that a hybrid Mallard would be the usual best option. Although I think the face pattern more matches a Grey Teal. But if it is the same one as the earlier photos, I guess that answers it.
