In my experience the Striated Fieldwren is a difficult bird to get in NSW, at places such as Green Cape.  However 'round the corner' in Victoria things are different.  These birds were filmed in a park bordering saltmarsh in the town of Hastings on the Mornington peninsula south of Melbourne.

I've filmed this great little bird before, but with better equipment etc. I needed to do a better job - it does not get much better than this..

For those who like stills there are some at  m("N04/albums/72157695223072304","//www.flickr.com/photos/146833745");">https:  These have been  extracted and cropped from 6K video
