In my experience the Striated Fieldwren is a difficult bird to get in NSW, at places such as Green Cape. However 'round the corner' in Victoria things are different. These birds were filmed in a park bordering saltmarsh in the town of Hastings
on the Mornington peninsula south of Melbourne.
I've filmed this great little bird before, but with better equipment etc. I needed to do a better job - it does not get much better than this..
