On the dog walk this morning a flock of 18 chipping Yellow-faced Honeyeaters moving with purpose across the top of the hill in Widgiewa Rd towards Hoskinstown. A further flock of 8 appeared
a little later also moving SE but then did a u-turn.
Nearly back home N end of Whiskers Creek Rd) and 2 flocks of Red Wattlebirds (13 and 8) were heading South.
Back at the ranch a group of 4 Noisy Miners were around. Unusual to find them down by the house this time of year - they are usually still at the top of the block, which currently resembles
one of the less camel-friendly areas of Saudi Arabia.
