At Aranda this morning, at the edge of the bushland towards the snow-gums, a large and very noisy flock of cockatoos contained a pair of ravens and some magpies. They were actively following one white bird in the flock that was a little smaller than the others. When separated from the flock, it flew into the large euc that I was standing under, and revealed itself as white-morph Grey Goshawk. Excellent views for the next 20 minutes or so as the goshawk moved from tree to tree, sometimes flying through in the canopy and sometimes above, usually with attendant magpies.
