I am not sure if people realise how hard it is to catch a free wheeling Flying fox in a 3 metre tree .
As we have said to Elizabeth if it is still in the fig tree tomorrow we will try and get it out so it doesn’t keep eating the fruit.
As an aside we have cut 40 Grey Headed Flying Foxes out of fruit netting so far this year, we have 18 in care at the moment.
Personally I think we do a pretty good job for 2 people ( volunteers )in challenging circumstances .
