Went up this afternoon looking for them and saw at least 15 flying around the area. 
After a bit of searching I eventually found 7 birds feeding in some flowering Eucalyptus a fair way away from where they were reported this morning. Photos and details including coordinates on eBird: https://ebird.org/australia/view/checklist/S43852635

While doing our woodland survey Duncan McCaskill, John and I found about 12 Swift parrots. Coords are on eBird. Northern end of Mt Majura near a small dam close to the fence line and fire trail. Feeding on eucalypt.
