Gee Geoffrey,

I am now most concerned with how the authorities will react to this apparent hybridising of the Noisy Miner and the Common Myna. What name will the Birdlife Australia mob give to this "new" species? Don't forget to send this to the people at ABRS/CAVS so that they can give it an official number!!

Yours (very much tongue in cheek),

Mark

Two advancing species from different planets (well, habitats) have begun to interact in my notional GBS area: bowerbirds and noisy mynas.  Another advancer is becoming more prominent –  grey butcherbird (x2).
