Many thanks Ken, surprisingly as my article shows Fraser/Mt Rogers was the
first Belconnen suburb where they were recorded (in 1996 or possibly
earlier).
I've never been quite sure why but one theory is that they were crossing the
Murrumbidgee from the W like they were probably doing in Weston Creek and
Tuggeranong.
Later (post 2003) if my recall is accurate the first records came from
Aranda, so they seemed to be coming in from the Se possibly through the
ANBG/Black Mountain.
