Hi All,
Thanks so much to those kind COG chatliners who gave me helpful information regarding the location of the collared sparrowhawks at the Gardens.
We finally ventured in there today and found the nest without any trouble. Luckily for us one of the juveniles was in the nest busily working on something I imagine it had caught. It remained busily attacking the object the whole time we were there. We also
saw and heard at least two other juveniles but we couldn't be certain if we saw the fourth youngster. The adults didn't put in an appearance but could have been watching us.
It was very overcast in there .. not ideal for photos, but I have edited a few pics of 3 birds (maybe 4) .... on Flickr for anyone interested.
Also posted on there today ... pics of the Red-capped Robin family that I've been watching at Mulligan's for the past couple of weeks.
The Yerrabi RCR family is also doing well.
Cheers
Julie
