Observed yesterday, Sunday, early a.m. at McQuoid’s Hill: a wedge-tail flying with a sulphur-crested cockatoo in its talons, being hotly pursued by a determined pair of Hobbies. Looked as if they thought they had ownership rights. Another WTE and a kestrel watched impassively from their perches. The eagle in possession was seen twice more, flying up from low bushes, still carrying the SCC, with no hobbies in pursuit.

Also a flock of 8 Yellow-tailed black cockatoos flying over.
