Thanks to all those who have provided input into the one foot raptor perch. It seems my bird is still in learning mode. Here is an expert raptor perching, a Wedge-tailed Eagle atop a barbed-wirefence/star picket. Not much to hang on to here
for such a big bird. Filmed in hot jumpy air in central NSW.
