This bird, apparently about the size of a corella, circled above the NRL refs at training session in Lidcombe this morning, and then landed on a shoulder.  My son, one of the NRL referees, has asked what it is. I've flipped quickly through Jow Forshaw's "Parrots of the World" and it seems most like a Yellow-crowned Amazon. Anyone know?? Obviously an escapee - it was taken to the nearest RSPCA premises.
