The Turner Red Wattlebirds and Koel chicks

Around our patch of Turner the Red Wattlebirds appear to be alert but
not alarmed, and anthropomorphically speaking, perhaps somewhat
prematurely smug.

It seemed to me that all the early Red Wattlebird attempts resulted
only in Red Wattlebird chicks. I have yet to hear a Koel chick hereabouts.

regards

Con
