Impossible in this experience to film but the males put on a good sound performance, some of which you can experience here. Recorded just inside NSW in the Border range NP in Antarctic beach forest the bird was so close in super dense undergrowth
I could here it moving about. But for a fleeting glance of one/something crossing the path this was the best we did - a powerful call
