Few more recently filmed
Brown Quail https://vimeo.com/246003721 - Introduced from Australia to NZ, on a predator free island they become relatively easy to get close to and film - unlike here!
Brown teal https://vimeo.com/245831197- NZ's very rare mostly nocturnal duck that spends much of its life foraging out of water in forests and scrubland.
Hihi https://vimeo.com/246554115 - The only member of the family Notionmystidae. A stunning Honeyeater like bird
Enjoy
David
