I know they have been around for some time now and have been hearing them
frequently in Deakin/Narrabundah, but they always seem to get to Fadden much
much later than elsewhere in Canberra. We've heard our first Koels here in the
past few days, just over 2 weeks later than last year when the first was around
24 October but similar to 2015.
