Frances took me to Kellys yesterday afternoon.  The view from Ardea hide was fairly quiet with a Latham's Snipe on the grassy island being the most interesting sighting.  Shifting round to Cygnus a single Black-winged Stilt was on the far bank together with a single Freckled duck.

As we headed back to the car I looked through the slotted wall to check on a lump I had noticed from Ardea on the willow island.  That resolved itself to a very static Latham's Snipe so we went into Bittern hide for a longer look at it.  As we did so a Baillon's Crake emerged and did a lap of the island.  At one point it was followed by a Spotless Crake.
