Hi Julie

There was a small mixed flock of woodswallows at the intersection of Yass River Rd and Back Creek Rd a week ago. White-browed, Masked and Dusky were present. The location is about a 20 minute drive from Gungahlin.

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has visited Yankee Hat Car Park in the past week and can tell me whether or not the white-browed woodswallows are still there? Is this a common place for them at this time of year or is it an unusual sighting?

There don't seem to be many eBird lists for the location so it's hard for me to tell. I've never seen the birds (except for a long-distance glimpse at Barren Grounds!!) and would love to see them but am a bit reluctant to head down there if they have already left. It's a bit of a hike from Gungahlin...

If anyone has any other suggestions as to where I could see the white-browed and/or masked woodswallows I'd be very appreciative.

Many thanks for any help.

Cheers
Julie
