There was a single male Red-capped Robin on Thursday about 1km NW along the river from Tharwa. (https://instagram.com/p/BaYiMHtFjCl/)

Also several Rufous Whistlers seen and very much heard about 500m S of the Namadgi Visitors Centre, near the rather parched wetland. (https://instagram.com/p/BaYj2KflDKp/)

This afternoon I had 3 Rufous Whistlers doing what appeared to be display routines.  However all three were males!

This morning also 1 Red-capped Robin male near Tarago and up the road another 7 km a pair in a row of pines along the road.

This year also very notable are the high numbers of Rufous Whistlers, even in pure stands/rows of pines.

Two females on our block just now (carefully staying 10m outside my GBS site, so will be reported on eBird).  Photos are on my Carwoola birds blog.
