Hi All,
Highlight of a walk in the Gardens today was seeing an Owlet Night-jar outside it's tree hollow for the first time. Alison and I had never actually see the entire bird before - just the head in the hole! This bird was the second Owlet Night-jar that we saw
in the Gardens today ... a considerable distance from the one near the Black Mountain gate.
We also saw the Tawny Frogmouth nesting pair.
Photos for anyone interested are on Flickr ...
Cheers
Julie
