The rain has stirred up the Carwoola birds very nicely.  On our dog-walk this morning we had 3 Robins (Eastern Yellow, Flame and Scarlet) and every Magpie in the area was carolling away very melodiously.

I was up at Tidbinbilla on Saturday and saw and heard a yellow robin doing the same.

Near ANBG this morning I heard a Yellow Robin giving its CHOP CHOP breeding season call – first time I’ve heard it this Winter, or rather Sprinter. Always a stirring sound!

Last year I first heard it on July 29.
