Yes, Hawthorns. Such flocks are not uncommon out here at this time of year. Some years back a visiting British birder got to see a flock of 100 overfly a barbecue on Woolcara Lane, and
shortly thereafter I recorded ~80 flying from Balcombe Hill across the Molonglo at Briars Sharrow Rd.!
